Our Real Wood Tracking Panel is an interactive STEM station designed to introduce early physics concepts, spatial language, and cause-and-effect through visual tracking in your natural outdoor classroom.
- Introduces Physics and Cause-and-Effect: Allows children to release items down tubes and chutes, observing motion, speed, and trajectory in real time to build foundational scientific reasoning.
- Builds Spatial Vocabulary: Gives educators a hands-on tool to introduce and reinforce crucial directional concepts like fast, slow, steep, high, and low during active play.
- Enhances Visual Tracking and Focus: Promotes oculomotor development and concentration as young learners follow objects moving through pathways across a natural wood structure.

They can visually track the object as it goes fast, faster and slower. This outdoor learning equipment is designed for use with a tennis ball but children can use Matchbox cars, ping-pong balls and other objects found in the outdoor classroom. When children use a variety of objects and compare the speed of travel, they learn about physical properties and cause and effect.
The Tracking Panel is available in real wood for your natural playground or maintenance-free plastic.
