Our Large Obstacle Course combines all-natural logs, stumps, and boulders to create an exciting, flexible physical challenge for your preschool playground.

Our diagram above gives one example of how you can arrange your Obstacle Course, but you or the children can design and arrange your own course as well. Because the course is made of loose parts, you can always later rearrange the parts to try out a new pathway.
There are many different ways to arrange your Obstacle Course. Place the parts close together so the children balance, step, and hop from one obstacle to the next without touching the ground, or place them far apart to cover a large area of the naturescape so the children can run between obstacles. Also, consider placing the highest obstacles in the middle of the course so the children go from low to high then back down to low, or consider placing alternating high and low obstacles. However you arrange the obstacles, this natural Obstacle Course makes a great fitness activity for your outdoor preschool playground.

Please Note:
- Products made from tree logs will contain some cracks or splits from the wood drying out, but this will only add to their beauty, natural inclination, and ability to teach children about natural processes, but will not reduce structural integrity. As wood ages, moisture will evaporate and it will become lighter, bark will fall off, and stress cracks and fissures will appear, but this is normal and creates wonderful opportunities for children to learn about the natural properties of trees and wood.
