Bringing New Life to a Playground in Silverton, Ohio

We’re excited to highlight one of our most recent projects: a full playground renovation at Best Early Development Center in Silverton, Ohio. The newly refreshed play space now features a custom infant playhouse, a large shade structure, and bright, durable poured-in-place rubber surfacing. We loved creating this safe, engaging outdoor environment for young children to explore, learn, and play.

As a Step Up To Quality award-winning program, they place a strong focus on kindergarten readiness while nurturing infants and young children in a warm, educational setting. 

They proudly serve Silverton and Head Start families, playing a vital role in the community by offering passionate early childhood care and education that makes a lasting impact.

Transforming the Playground

The renovation began with the removal of outdated shade structures, old surfacing, and aging play equipment. Once the site was cleared and prepared, our team installed:

• A brand-new infant playhouse
• A large shade structure to keep the space cool and comfortable
• Fresh poured-in-place rubber fall surfacing for safety and durability

After the surfacing had cured and the equipment passed all required safety inspections, the playground was ready for children to enjoy once again. And their excitement has made all the work worthwhile!
