Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving!  A fun Thanksgiving activity to do with your preschoolers this week is to make a centerpiece or wreath.  Take the children outside to gather natural items such as colorful fall leaves, acorns, twigs, pine cones, etc.  If you’d like to add more color, children can paint the items or, in the case of the twigs, wrap them in yarn.

After gathering your leaves and such, the children can arrange and glue everything onto a cardboard or foam wreath that their families can hang up or place on the table for Thanksgiving.

Happy Thanksgiving from The Adventurous Child Team!

We strive to create fun and informative content that will help young children learn and grow. However, it's important to keep in mind that all activities should be performed under the supervision of an adult. The Adventurous Child website is intended to serve as a reference and guidance for educational activities, and it is ultimately the responsibility of the parent, guardian, and/or educator to determine the appropriateness of the activity for their child’s age and maturity level. Thank you for your understanding and support!
